Can I change my e-mail address in the Online Service Center?

You cannot change your e-mail address yourself in your profile.

Why is it sensible and important to register PV systems in the Online Service Center?

PV system registration is currently available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and it offers numerous advantages:

  • The PV system data shows you which module groups and devices make up the PV system.
  • The PV systems are structured and you are given an overview.
  • In the PV system data, you can select the location of the PV system by latitude and longitude and thus record the geographical position. In the event of servicing, you can therefore react more quickly as the PV system location is known.
  • You can upload a wide range of documents to the PV system data, such as a string plan. This means that you have access to all important documents when on site. In addition, the documents are saved at a central location and can be managed there.
  • In the PV systems, you are given an indication for each inverter as to whether an extended warranty is possible and can view open and closed tickets. This means that you are always up to date.

Are old tickets also displayed in the Online Service Center?

When you select the "Ticket Tracking" menu item, you are taken to your ticket overview. All tickets from the last three months are displayed in the overview, regardless of their individual status.

What is the registration process for the Online Service Center?

To register in the Online Service Center, please go to www.sma-service.com/en.html. You can find the login box for the Online Service Center on the left-hand side here. You can use the "Register for free" link to create your own custom profile.

Once you have clicked the "Register for free" link, please follow the instructions for the registration process. Once you have entered and confirmed your data, an e-mail is sent to you at the e-mail address you have entered. The e-mail contains a link for confirmation. Please click this link to complete the registration process and activate your profile.

When you click the link you are directed to an overview page with notification that the registration was successful. You can now log into the Online Service Center with your e-mail address and password and register your plants and devices.

If you have any questions, you are welcome to contact us at any time using our contact form. In the Online Service Center, you have the option of sending us your contact inquiries 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We will handle these as quickly as possible during our business hours.
